The Columbia Jaycees (Junior Chamber) are a group of individuals aged 21 to 40, who have common goals of True Friendship, Business Development, Career Advancement and Community Service.
Our members, who are young leaders in our community, strive to attain these ideals by serving in club officer positions, chairing a fundraising or community development event, and participating in our many events.
Some of the community projects we participate in or organize each year are: casino night fundraisers; golf tournament fundraiser; scholarship to a local high school student; chili challenge; and Columbia’s Holiday Parade.
We also have social events, such as: monthly happy hours in the summer; an annual float trip and camping at the Current River; and holiday parties.
We donate money to local charities and our state Jaycee project, Wonderland Camp.
Our meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at our building located at 2315 North Stadium Boulevard in Columbia. Please contact us if you are interested in joining or would like someone to contact you.
